To promote Desta we wanted a high quality animated short and found incredible partners in Moth Studio. I created storyboards, colour ways and art directed the short along with the talented team at moth to create a short to match the dreamy nature of desta.

Minimalism with movement
For the short we could really reduce the art style to its core elements, with striking neons and kinetic movement, along with the signature Desta eye motifs and surrealist symbolism.
We also created an animated intro for the game, it's simpler but really sets the scene for the game and frames who Desta is. Storyboarded by Chris Cox, animated by Moth.
